Jess and her wedding favours

Jess's wedding favours

When we were planning our wedding, we knew we wanted every part of the day to feel personal and meaningful. One of the things we talked about early on was wedding favours. We loved the idea of giving our guests something to remember the day by, but we also wanted it to reflect who we are as a couple and what really matters to us.

That’s when we decided to make a donation to MS Together instead. As someone living with MS, I’ve experienced first-hand the difference this charity makes. I use their services regularly, and the support and advice I’ve received has been amazing. Choosing them as part of our wedding was an easy decision.

In return for our donation, we received badges and keyrings to give to our guests. It wasn’t just about a favour on the table — it was about raising awareness, showing support, and sharing something that’s such a big part of our lives.

In 2024, I had a few relapses in close succession and which led to my diagnosis, and being in hospital for a month. My partner came to see me everyday and always made sure I was never alone. Despite the uncertainty MS brings, it ultimately brought us closer together.

Looking back, it feels really special to know that, in celebrating our love, we were also able to give something back to a cause so close to our hearts. Our wedding day was full of love, laughter, and joy — and having MS Together be a part of it made it even more meaningful.
