Newly diagnosed

Being newly or recently diagnosed with MS can feel overwhelming, scary and life-changing, but the first thing to remember is there's a whole community of people here to help.

When you feel ready, please take the time to explore our site and see how we can support you. Also, we asked some of our members 'what would you say to someone newly diagnosed?' and you can read their answers below.

"Take every day as it comes. I try not to worry too much about the future and find the good in every day. I unfollowed negative groups, I changed to a job with better hours, and I put my health first. The first year I almost burnt myself out trying to act 'normal' and it was the worst thing I could've done!"
